Fiscal Court
The fiscal court of Greenup County consist of a county judge and three commissioners. The fiscal court shall have the power to carry out governmental functions necessary for the operation of the county.
Except as otherwise provided by statute or the Kentucky Constitution, the fiscal court of any county may enact ordinances, issue regulations, levy taxes, issue bonds, appropriate funds, and employ personnel in performance of public functions.

Fiscal Court meetings are open to the public and held in the Fiscal Court room located in the old courthouse downtown Greenup. Meetings start at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday of the second full week of each month.
